Reference Services

Reference and Reader’s Advisory Services consist of aiding Library patrons in locating and securing needed information.  The information may be found within the Library’s Collection or via use of Electronic Sources.    Reference Service is available to all patrons using the Library.

Reference and Reader’s Advisory Services include assistance finding materials in the electronic database and on the shelves, subject-heading assistance with other electronic sources, Reader’s Advisory, and the answering of specific questions of patrons, using the Reference Collection and/or Electronic Sources.

Research Data Bases for Home Access
Patrons can access many data bases online from home. 
A valid library card is required.  you will be asked to enter your barcode number and a password.  Your barcode can be found on your library card, and the default password is your last name as shown on the card.

Patrons can access World Book Online at home from our website .  You will need your library card number to access World Book.
