ISAC Financial Aid Program

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission ISAC can help you plan for, find and apply to, and finance your college education on Saturday, February 6th at 2:00 p.m., Thomas Bellino and Katrina Morales offer free career and college planning and preparation services to students, especially students from families with no prior college-going experience.

Bookmark Contest!!

In honor of National Library Week, the library will be having a bookmark contest February 22nd- March 22nd. Children in grades K-8 who attend Schiller Park Schools or who reside in Schiller Park will be able to participate.  One winner will be chosen from each grade and will be awarded a prize.  A list of the winners will be posted in the Youth Service room at the library.  The winning bookmarks will also be printed.  Full details will be on the back of each entry form.

Dropping Eggs!!  

The Easter Bunny will be dropping eggs at the library on Saturday, March 27th from 1:30-3:30 p.m. for our annual Easter Egg Hunt.  **The egg hunt and party is limited to 100 children, Schiller Park residents only, child or parent must present a Schiller Park library card at sign-up!!  Entry will not be granted without an admission ticket.  Age groups and times for those who participate;

Birth- Age 3 begin promptly at 1:30 p.m.    

Age 4- Age 5 begin promptly at 2:00 p.m.

Age 6- Age 7 begin promptly at 2:30 p.m.

Age 8- Age 10 begin promptly at 3:00 p.m.            

Please arrive downstairs in the meeting room 10 minutes before your child's scheduled time. 

**Our Egg-citing Easter bunny will be here for pictures so make sure to please bring your own camera!!  The library will not take pictures!!  Please remember to bring a basket for those eggs.  Please sign-up at the front desk starting February 28th. Sign-up cutoff date will be March 22nd.

Guessing Jar..     

The library will be having a guessing jar contest from April 11th- April 17th.  There is a limit of one entry per person. The winner will be announced and awarded a prize on Monday, April 19th. So please stop by and keep those guesses coming.  Complete rules and entry slips will be found at the front desk.
