** Most Crafts are not intended for children to do, under the age of 4. Children under 4 may sign-up for crafts, but will need parental assistance.

** NOTICE: Children age 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult or an adolescent at least 14 years of age at all times in the library, including programs.

^{Computer Classes

The library will be offering computer classes on Saturday,
February 11^th and a repeat session on March 10^th 2012

from9:30-11:00 p.m.

.
This class is designed to familiarize participants with electronic mail, Facebook, and Craigslist.

By the end of this session participants will:

Know common Internet
tasks such as e-mail, Facebook, and Craigslist
Have your own free,
personal e-mail and Facebook account
Be able to send and
receive messages
Be familiar with basic
terminology and functionality common when using these applications.

Participants must be comfortable using a keyboard and
mouse and should be able to navigate the internet in order to attend this class.
Registration is accepted for only one date per person. **There is a limit of 8
adults for this class and is limited to Schiller Park residents only. There will
be a $10 refundable deposit required at the time of sign-up that will be
returned on class date. **Please sign-up in the Youth Services Room starting
January 14^th.

Bookmark Contest!!

In honor of National Library Week, the library will be having a bookmark contest March 1^st- March 31^st. Children in grades K-8 who attend Schiller Park Schools or who reside in Schiller Park will be able to participate. One winner will be chosen from each grade and will be awarded a prize. A list of the winners will be posted and the winning bookmarks will be printed and distributed in the Youth Service room at the library. Full details will be on the back of each entry form.

Egg Scramble!!

Get your eggs at the library on Saturday, March 31^st from 1:30-3:30 p.m. for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. **The egg hunt and party is limited to 100 children, Schiller Park residents only, child or parent must present a Schiller Park library card at sign-up!! Entry will not be granted without an admission ticket. Age groups and times for those who participate

· Birth- Age 3 begin promptly at 1:30 p.m.

· Age 4- Age 5 begin promptly at 2:00 p.m.

· Age 6- Age 7 begin promptly at 2:30 p.m.

· Age 8- Age 10 begin promptly at 3:00 p.m.

Please arrive downstairs in the meeting room 10 minutes before your child's scheduled time.

**Our floppy-eared friend will be here for pictures so make sure to please bring your own camera!! The library will not take pictures!! Please remember to bring a basket for those eggs. Please sign-up at the front desk starting February 25^th. Sign-up cutoff date will be March 24^th.
