Reference Data Bases

Patrons may access many online data bases. 

A valid library card is required.  You will be asked to enter your barcode number and a password.  Your barcode can be found on your library card, and the default password is your last name as shown on the card.

The following data bases are available to patrons - Click on the name to access the data bases:

EBSCO
Contains indexing and abstracts for over 8,450 journals, with full text for more than 4,600 of those titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles.

Gale's Infotrac
Contains over 10,000 titles of which more than 50% are full text.

World Book
Five online encyclopedia databases.

Research Pro
Search across multiple databases, websites, and catalogs selected by the library to find full-text articles, abstracts, images, books, and other resources.

Teacher's Lists of the Best Children's Books
Find books on topics being studied in school.
