There are two photocopiers located in the library for patron convenience. Copies are $.10 per page.
The Library offers a Quiet Study Room for the use of a single person or small group, who may need to study together. This room is available for one hour at a time, if no one is waiting, the user may stay longer. Reservations for this room can only be made the same day it will be used. Also available for public use, is an IBM Typewriter. Patrons must bring their own paper and supplies for typing. Both of these rooms can be signed up for at the Front Desk.
Each year from January 1st to April 15th, the Library provides access to Federal and State Tax Forms. The staff are not tax experts and cannot answer questions about how or which forms to use or fill out. The tax forms are free. Copies from the Reproducible books are $.10 each.
The Library has an on-going Booksale Shelf, just inside the front door of the library. Paperbacks are $.25 each and hardback items are $.50 each. Donations from the public are welcome all year round. However, please do not bring in encyclopedias or magazines as donations, these do not sell and will not be used by the library.
The Library offers the service of sending faxes. Faxes sent in the state of Illinois are $1.00 per page and out of state are $2.00 per page. We do not send International faxes. Faxes cannot be received at the Library.
Notary Services are available at the Library. It is recommended that you call ahead to check and make sure the Notary is in. Bring the item to be notarized and a picture ID. Cost for Notary Service is $.50 per document.
The Public Meeting room, located in the basement of the Library, is available for public use. Priority is given to Schiller Park residents and programs. Persons requesting to use the room must fill out an application that will be presented to the Board of Trustees for approval at their next regular meeting. Application must be received a week prior to the next Board Meeting. There is no fee for use of the room. Click here for the Meeting Room Policy
